Point Au Roche State Park
Join us for
this month's Sustainability Saturday! What's the first step to living
sustainably? Appreciating our surroundings! We can't love what we don't know,
so let's take some time to immortalize some meaningful moments we have spent in
nature! Join us for one hour of structured journaling time to connect with the
world through paper and pen. We will have journals available on a first come,
first served basis so you can continue your "journaling journey" after the hour
is up!

the diverse habitats of the park. Length
of walk will be about 2 miles on easy trails.

naturalist for our nature-themed story and playtime for ages 0-5! Come explore
with stories, songs, and art projects from 10-10:30, then stay for some outdoor
playtime! THE TURTLES ARE ON THE MOVE!
Multiple mama turtles have been observed laying eggs around the nature center,
so what better time to learn about these adorable, armored friends? We can even
go on a walk to the pond to look for some!

Join a park naturalist to visit the pond near the Nature Center and see
what aquatic life, large and small, we can find! We'll look for birds, frogs,
turtles, and other larger animals, and then we'll collect some water samples to
examine more closely under the microscope. All ages and abilities welcome!
