Hours of Operation

  • Grounds are open year round from sunrise to sunset.
  • The historic house is open for tours on the schedules below and at other times by appointment.
    April – October: Saturday-Wednesday, with tours begining hourly from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, closed Easter and most Holidays

    November-March: Saturday-Wednesday, with tours begining hourly from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, closed holidays

  • Summer Kitchen Hours
    Sunday (10:00am - 12:00pm)
    Monday (12:00pm - 2:00pm)
    Except Easter and holidays
  • Special Exhibit:Now open in the Back Parlor Gallery "Am I Not Myself a Woman?" The First Generation of Jay Women at Bedford"

    Sunday 12:00pm - 2:00pm  Monday 10:00am - 12:00pm
    Closed  Easter and holidays
    Gallery admission is $2.00 per person

  • School and group visits are by appointment only. Please call the site at 914.232.5651 for more information.

  • Day Use Activities: Seasonal.
    Hiking, birding, landscape painting, photography, equestrian trials and XC skiing.
  • Picnicking: Available year-round.
